When spring season hits, it is almost like the stores lose their minds with color, print and textures. As a self proclaimed “neutrals lover,” spring is probably my least favorite fashion season due to this reason. But even though neutrals are my go-to, during the warmer months you can catch me rocking some colors that you typically wouldn’t see me in. Below are three of the way in which I add color to my wardrobe in spring! (without over doing it…)
Jackets are something I have been getting into recently. I love vintage hunting and finding cool pieces from decades ago that I can sport confidently knowing it is classic yet a total statement. Recently I found a vintage suede trench jacket that is burnt orange and screams 70s! And the beautiful part is, I got is for only $12 on a half price Monday. Adding a colorful jacket to a neutral outfit is a great way to really make a look pop!
Although I may not be the biggest fan of brilliant colors, I am a huge fan of brilliant earrings! Earrings complete an outfit. The tie a look together and is basically the icing on the cake. While I do love my classic, simpler pieces, I also adorable bright, bold earrings. During the spring, jewelry brands always let out colorful collections that can add some vibrance to any look!
I know, I know. You are saying, “Olivia, shut up already about the bodysuits!” But I literally cannot! Finding the perfect fitting bodysuit is like entering into heaven. It takes away all the worry. Is my top tucked in still? Can you see my panty lines? Not with a bodysuit honey honey. It all goes away! With a colorful bodysuit, let all yoru worries fade away and just look effortlessly bangin’!
