Fall is my absolutely favorite season for fashion trends. Below are some of the best ways to stay stylin’ throughout the season!
Plaid flared bottoms
Whenever there is a new trend for bottoms I am initially weary of it. I am petite with a small waist but large bottom so I am not the person that can walk into the store, grab pants off the rack and have them fit me perfectly (I still don’t know if that person even exists btw). So when plaid flared bottoms started popping up I was all for them but nervous that I wouldn’t find a pair that fit me well. I ended up finding TWO pairs that are vintage but you an cop the ones above from Urban Outfitters!
My mom used to read me this book called “Corduroy” as a kid about a corduroy stuffed bear lost in the mall. It was a child’s tragedy! That story got me interested as a kid in different materials. I started really loving velvet and corduroy and as a 90’s kid these materials were riddled throughout my closet. This season you can be a corduroy comeback kid with a corduroy statement jacket!
Two piece sets
Two piece sets are a trend that I have been adoring forever but actually don’t have (sad day). A set like this casual set by Forever21 is perfect for the fall because it’s not too hot and not too cold so you can sport the full look without worrying about the weather. I also love two piece sets like this because you can rock them, as the model above, with some heels when out or lounge around on a lazy Sunday with the boy-toy while still looking like a snack!
Minimalist gold earrings
Minimalist gold earrings have been on the scene for quite some time now. Since trends are cyclical there are so many amazing vintage earrings that are the real OG of this trend! I have been collecting them for myself and for my boutique for years now and I love seeing so many new brands emulate similar styles in a modern way.
Modern utility can be done in so many different ways, my personal favorite being modern camo printed utility pants. Camo has been on trend for a hot second now and has totally run the utility game! But you can get utility inspired clothing without it being camo. I chose these bottoms from Urban Outfitters because they actually have an entire utility collection!
